Inviting Friends and Family

Commencement is a time to celebrate with family and friends.  Please review the information related to tickets.

Visa Support Letter Request

Submit a request for a visa support letter.  This letter is only to support your guest's application. It is not to assist you in getting an appointment. Around the world we are seeing many consulates and embassies with reduced capacities to process nonimmigrant visas due to the pandemic. Our best advice is to continue checking multiple times a day for appointments. If you have questions about your specific situation, reach out to Andrea Le.

Livestreaming and Ceremony Recordings

The HGSE Convocation, the University-wide Morning Exercises and the HGSE Diploma Ceremony will be livestreamed on various Harvard websites so that family and friends can view the ceremonies from around the world.  Recordings of the ceremonies will be available on the HGSE YouTube page in the days following the events.  Please note that livestream viewing locations on the HGSE campus will be extremely limited.  Guests who do not have tickets to attend the ceremony are encouraged to watch from an alternative location.  All livestreamed Commencement events will include captioning.

Affinity Celebrations will be livestreamed to the Univeristy Office for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging site.

Convocation and the HGSE Presentation of Certificates and Diplomas will be livestreamed to the HGSE Commencement site.

The University Morning Exercises will be livestreamed to the Central Commencement site.

Accessibility

All Commencement events will be fully accessible.  Accessible seating tickets will be made available to guests requiring accommodations through a process that will be posted here in the coming months.  Events in Radcliffe Yard will include captioning displayed on screens under the tent.
