LGBTQIA Students

HGSE welcomes all members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual community. We work to affirm and celebrate all orientations, gender identities, and expressions through our programming and student organizations. Currently it is not possible to have a non-legal name appear on official documents. However, professors, TFs, administrators, and almost all university officials will call you by your chosen name upon request. If you have trouble with this, contact Liz Thurston, director of the Office of Student Affairs.
