The following events will take place in Sanders Theatre
9-9:30am Dean’s Welcome Ceremony
9:35-10:30am Presentation with faculty from the Foundations courses about what to expect in August
10:40-11:30am Alumni Panel – How to Make the Most of your Time at HGSE
Please note that food and beverage (including coffee) is not permitted in Sanders Theatre
11:30 – 12: Transition to HGSE campus
The following events will take place in Askwith, GCC 1,2,3, and various smaller spaces around campus to accommodate 30-35 people. 6-7 groups will attend each session simultaneously.
Session 1 – 1 to 2:15pm
Session 2 – 2:25 to 3:40pm
Session 3 – 3:50 to 5:05pm

faculty perspectives on use of office hours, best practices in communicating with faculty outside of class, leveraging faculty in your job search
Learning in Community: Being a Good HGSE Citizen
Session covering community standards, academic integrity, Harvard bullying and discrimination policy, general principles related to being a graduate student and wellness. Offers an opportunity for students to ask questions in a smaller group setting. Sessions are hosted by Orientation leaders.
