Each state offers a variety of voting options including early voting, mail-in voting, absentee voting, and in-person voting on election day. Deadlines, rules, and processes vary by state! Within Massachusetts, early voting hours vary by town; check your local government’s website for details.

- Find your polling place to vote in person on Tuesday, November 5 (any state).
- Find out about mail-in voting in your state. States that allow mail-in voting usually allow it for any voter, but read the rules for your state to be sure.
- Request your absentee ballot if you will be unable to vote in person on Tuesday, November 5 (any state). Most states have rules about absentee ballot eligibility. If you do not qualify for an absentee ballot, click the previous link to find out if mail-in voting is available in your state.
