Daycare and nursery school programs typically have limited openings, waitlists are common, and contracts with many of these facilities begin in September and run through June-and remember to consider the difference in location, hours, and tuition.

Private Elementary and Secondary Schools in the Boston Area

To search for private schools, visit the Association of Independent Schools in New England website.
Typically, application deadlines are in late winter preceding the expected enrollment in September, and most schools notify applicants of admission in March or April -- although some schools may have spaces remaining through the end of the summer or at the beginning of the school year.
Scholarship aid, tuition abatement and/or sliding scale fees are sometimes available.
