Childcare
- www.childcare.harvard.edu, Harvard University's website for members of the Harvard community who want information on local childcare and schooling options, features comprehensive information on childcare and how to connect with other parents in the Harvard community (listservs, community bulletin boards, organizations, etc.), as well as links to local agencies and public and private schools. Links are provided (see the Paying for Childcare section) to sources of information about childcare financial aid for Massachusetts families.
- Daycare and nursery school programs typically have limited openings, waitlists are common, and contracts with many of these facilities begin in September and run through June-and remember to consider the difference in location, hours, and tuition.
- To search for private nursery schools and daycare in your area, visit the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
