 NOMINATION PERIOD EXTENDED! Nominations open through Sunday, September 12

 

  Nomination Period

 Nominations will take place through September 6, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET

- Nominations are conducted through an online polling tool linked in Orientation Canvas site.
- All nominations are self-nominations.
 
 

    Monday, September 13 - Sunday, September 19

 

  General Elections

 Following the nomination period, elections will be held via an online polling tool from Tuesday, September 7th through Sunday, September 12th at 11:59 p.m. ET. Each student may cast up to six votes:

- Committee Senators: Each student may cast one vote for a representative of each of the Programming and Events, and Student Advocacy and Issues Committees
- At-Large - Harvard Graduate Council Voting Representative: Each student may cast one vote for a student to serve as the at-large voting member of the HGSE Student Council and represent HGSE at the Harvard Graduate Council (HGC).
- **One vote each for the Executive Chair, Vice Chair, and Student Council Administrator**

  Elected Senators and HGC Voting Representative are notified

  Student Council Retreat

 All elected members are expected to attend a kickoff retreat

 

    Dates / Times TBD

 

  During the retreat, Council members will determine the date/time of weekly Council meetings.

 

  





 

##  Nomination Process 

After the creation of each program Student Advisory Board (SAB) the Director of Student Affairs will solicit nominations of Advisory Board members from the Program Assistant Director.
