### HGSE Convocation Student Speakers

Three graduating students will be selected to deliver a short speech at Convocation – one per topic below. A committee of faculty and staff will select three graduates who will deliver their speech at HGSE Commencement. You are welcome to provide submissions on all three prompts, but the committee will select a different student for each speech.

The committee will review submissions up to 650 words maximum (~ 5 mins. in length) for each of these prompts:

1. Describe a moment, event, or course from your time at HGSE that completely changed your thinking about something related to education. What did you used to think, and what do you now think?
2. What do you intend to do with your HGSE education next year, in ten years, and in twenty years? How did you learn to change the world at HGSE?
3. Talk about something you observed or experienced during your time at HGSE that makes you optimistic about the future of education.

To apply, [submit through this link](https://harvard.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6LRESiSzFWMhYYC) no later than Sunday, April 19. Final speakers will be provided with coaching and support in the weeks prior to graduation.
